when I am making territories do I need to draw them like you draw the map or do I use a different thing and how do I connect them for attacking?

Have you already installed InkScape, or another image editor which can work with .svg (Scalable Vector Graphics) files?

What have you done so far? And what is it exactly which is giving you trouble?

I have inskape and I drew everything but what about the territories for the taking? should I draw it like anything else in inkscape or should I use something else?

What you basically have to do is trace the territory that you want to draw first using the freestyle or straight/Bezier curves tool from the left side of the screen. In order to finish the territory, you have to make sure that the line you make for it connects to the beginning part of it. Then you right-click on the new territory and change the object ID to "Territory_<number>" and you are done building one territory. Connections and bonuses come in later once you upload the map to the website (not in public, of course).

Drew everything but the territories? That is essentially all you need to draw...

territory name's are all done (and connections) on warlight later by you but you don't have to worry about that now just draw the territories first. Every now and again upload it to warlight and do the connects, territory names and mid points. Simplezzz

Yes, you do. In that case however, it IS important how to name the object, detail [on the wiki](http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Creating_the_SVG#Bonus_Links).

To make a bonus link, make a circle, square, or a shape, then change the ID to "BonusLink_<bonuslinkname>" and then once you upload it to Warlight, create a bonus with the same name under the bonuses window.
