It was auto boot, he said it himself.

I actually took the time to browse through history and it said "Derpina", the player that won, booted him

Turn one of a 4v4 game the other team surrendered. Apparently they made bad choices in territory picks and abandoned the game. We didn't have a single border with any of them, so it was news to us.

My Opponent had a "What The" moment when he realized that someone else could pick his altered bonus.

The biggest guy was being an ass, he didn't accept my surrender, ran the clock to almost 0:00 every turn, but I managed to boot him. Don't read the chat if you are easily offended!
