At has been a while since a new mod has appeared and I finally finished a mod I strated on working 2 years ago. It is called Connected Commanders and it tries to to create a new way to play with commanders. It adds a couple new rules:
- At the end of each turn every territory should be "connected" to a commander. This means that there is a path through your own territories to a commander in your possesion. Every territory which is not "connected"will become neutral.
- Because you start with just a few territories there is an option to let all starting territories start with a commander to not lose all your territories at once. This is capped at 4 territories.
- If you don't like this or play a template with more starts it is also possible to deploy them using recon cards. Play a recon card on a territory you own and before the actual deployment phase a commander will spawn. This option can be turned off.
- This creates a lot of commanders and because they are pretty strong there is an option to let them only transfer. Or not move at all.
