I noticed that in most clans the forums are quite inactive. Mine has 77 members many of which are active, but they never say a word in the forums.

I think that the forums should be more prominent somehow for mobile users, so that they can be more inclined to use them. This helps clan drastically from a social angle and can also help w/ event related stuff.

There's something that will improve visibility of the clan forums in the next update. Stay tuned.

I think the issue is less that users cant find the forums and more than there are easier ways to communicate. Many clans used skype and nowadays discord that is much more useful to talk and discuss with each other. Not the mention all the extra benefits and customization you can do in them instead of a simple chat room. The clan forum doesnt really serve that big of a purpose when you can use that.

All would be easier if ppl learned to use mobile browsers.

We haven't used our forum in 2 years. There are several reasons for this (maybe Fizzer can get some tips for what he's doing now):

1) We have no admin abilities. You can't edit/delete posts at all. So say you are talking about a possible new member and they join. Now they can see everything you talked about regarding them.

2) No notifications. Unlike mail (which is great to have the icon), you have no idea if someone posted something new.

3) No Sub-forums/restricted threads. Would be nice to have your clan admins be able to see content that a general member cannot.
