Ummmmm what? Is there a site "selling" Warlight? Or is it something similar to the whole Kongregate thing? Which was ok, I guess, and I am sure now some of those guys are getting to be good players, although some stats definitely got padded in the first few weeks.

Um, sorry man, I can't really understand very well, and I pride myself on my knowledge of garbled English. But I went to the site, and WarLight is not on there. Do you mean that people can play Warlight from this site, or that you just want free advertising for this site in our forums?

hes suggesting that a full version of warlight should be on mochigames, where users can purchase warlight memberships with the in-site 'mochi coins'. this is my understanding at least.

Are these "mochi coins" purchased with real money? Because I can't see Fizzer giving memberships for virtual money.

From their [Developer FAQ](https://www.mochimedia.com/developers/coins.html):
|> Mochi shares 60% of revenue generated by MochiCoins spent in a game with the developer.

So yes, it could be done. It is, of course, Fizzer's decision whether or not it's actually a good idea. Another approach would be to do it like on Kongregate: let users play the game for free (without Membership benefits) and have a couple links to warlight.net in there.

Oh, didn't want to keep this gem from you:
|> We believe in Premium Flash Games. These games are high-quality, well polished and rigorously tested. The Mochi Coins program is currently only open to developers by application. All games are subject to rigorous testing and quality control before they are released to the public.

At least that won't be a problem. :D

Nice. What are your opinions on this? If they would only offer the premium version, I think it might be ok, although certainly not a means to Fizzer's retirement. However, I don't think it very likely, as most people won't pay for a game they haven't played, and possibly never heard of. More likely that they would Google "WarLight" and find the site themselves, without having to go through a middleman.

I sort of like the Kongregate approach, which was essentially to provide a link to the site. This, more traffic, and more players. While it did lower the level of competition a bit, especially in the auto-games, there must be a few of the Kongregate players who stuck around and got better. More good players means a better game.

im not sure it would actually be possible to have anything other than single-player games embedded in a different site. but if it was, i guess it would make it easier for players on that site to give money, although at 60/40, either the player or fizzer would be losing out a little bit.

@TexasJohn:
Why not ask/suggest Fizzer to drop (an ever so slightly adapted version of??) the Kongregate client on MochiGames and basically have a rerun of the Kongregate promotion? I'm not sure why he chose for Kongregate specifically, but if there wasn't too much of a reason, that could work, right? That way you completely bypass the whole MochiCoins stuff. (Which would be a pity if there's lots of people with too many coins lying around they're eager to spend, but how likely is that?)

kongregate has it's own currency too (kreds) and as i know they share 100% revenue from in-game purchases with developer. Also the audience of Kong grossly bigger than mochi's, so i don't know why you sticked to mochigames at all ;\

@sasha:
Don't worry, I hadn't been on mochigames for years ;) only went there to check Jakub's idea. More to the point, I know there's something called kreds (never used them though), but haven't heard that 100% claim before, do you have a link for that; it sounds a little weird. If it were true, where does Kongregate get their own income from...!?
