Regarding bonus values:

From the Wiki (http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Entering_map_details)

Determining Bonus Values

A general rule of thumb to assign bonus values is by this formula:

1 or 2 territories: not recommended due to balance issues
3 territories: 2 armies
4 territories: 3 armies
5 territories: 4 armies
6 territories: 4 or 5 armies
7 territories: 5 or 6 armies etc.
Things to take into account when assigning bonus values, besides the number of territories within the bonus, are the number of adjacent bonuses and number of territories that need to be defended within the bonus.

Good luck!

Ah, rant all you want. China doesn't block the site, it only blocks users inside of China from accessing them. And I have a VPN for such sites (Facebook, Porn, YouTube, etc).

You could make the argument that Bush CONTRIBUTED to 9-11, in the sense that he was pretty stupid and seems to have missed a few glaring clues, but that is all he was, stupid. I assume you don't mean to say that your teacher TEACHES IN CLASS that George Bush was responsible for those attacks. In America, teachers are supposed to keep any political or religious opinions to themselves, and for good reason.

I could really care less what you think about America, because it is what it is, it is what it was, and that's the way baseball go. But before you go casting stones, talk to some of the people in East Asia who lived in the Dutch East Indies, a region given by the Dutch government to a company in order to extract all possible resources from the native peoples. If you aren't Dutch, I can give examples of the colonial barbarity comitted by whatever country you are from.

Back on topic, the map looks ok, although a little messy looking for me. I know making maps is tough, especially such large ones, but it really gets under my skin when I have to play a map that is so messy in terms of borders, etc. Also, as I have said before, I dislike the names of the US territories (can't really comment either way on the others). You have stated you got the map from a meterological map, and it truly shows, because the territory names are often quite boring. I don't think people living in Coastal California refer to their region as "the Northern/Southern/Central Drainage Basin".

Most of the time i just fly over the posts made in most threads and I refrain from commenting on the at best half knowledge that is expressed in them. I do that, not because I have no opinion to the thoughts expressed, but because I know that when I even just write a simple line of my mind, I would have to give you two pages of explanation, just to narrow the possible interpretations and providing enough background knowledge to make myself understood.
Sometimes though i get triggered and I feel compelled to set a few things straight.
The religion topic was such a thread, in which my comment was sadly swallowed by the warlight server, here again such a point is reached. Being aware of the fact that I am cursed to be either Cassandra or Sissyphos, or eventually both, I still feel the urge to enlighten you.

I dont understand while people constantly overestimate Bush and his role in the plutocratian government of the USA. Bush was or is not capable of advanced thought, he has no analytical mind (if he has a mind at all) and he is no Putin. While Bush was spending his money on getting drunk and getting laid in college, getting his grades bought by his fathers wealth and influence, Putin was rising the ranks in the Russian Secret Service. Comparing Bush with Putin is comparing an Ape with an Rocket Scientist. But thinking was never expected of Bush, it wasnt his role in the government. His job was not unlike Reagans, to merely be the face of it. The used cars salesman, being in touch with the equally stupid masses and selling them anything they are needed to buy. And his lifelong learned and perfected ability of blinding the simple minded was a very useful trait in that.

Most people have no understanding of the structure of the USA, they have no systematic approach to it and as so often either lack the knowledge or the ability and / or willingness to logically and analytically ponder over the topic. One the one hand you have those born with faith into the religion that you can call America or Americanism, that have been raised to unquestionly bow before the flag, not to second guess the fairy tales of Agenda their country is made of.
And on the other hand you have those that follow every conspiracy theory you can find, who yet even if they are eventually realizing that something is not right, are equally unable or unwilling to think on their own. Their inability to differentiate their systemical critique places them in the same quarter as the ones who are the very target of their attacks.

As stupid as Bush was, dont get lured into believing a government behind it can ever be stupid. High level political wire pullers can ever be stupid. Their way up the highest echolons of power usually demands an superior IQ. As faulty as their morals may be, stupidity should never be associated with them.
But unlike the masses that fall for the stupitidy excuse, they are aware of its function. Stupitidy is something that after a bitter laugh, an uncomfortable smile or resigning shaking head, is easily forgiven, while calculated intention is not.
So when it comes to examine the structure of the society of the USA, let reason and knowledge be your judges not faith/believe and sympathy/antipathy. The war in Iraq has again shown how far the stupitidy of US population as a whole has come already, evident in the sloppiness with which the interest of the Military-Industrial Complex (check Eisenhowers farewell speech as an incentive to further read into that topic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y06NSBBRtY) have been concealed (or not concealed). As a side note: Putins comment on the lack of Weapons of Mass Destruction "If I had been in Iraq, I would have found WMP" addresses exactly that sloppiness.

So now I could write another two pages just to get to the very core of my message, but as I grew older I grew wiser and instead of boring you with further explanations on the topic, i will show some pearls of a brilliant man, wity political satire in joyful clothes.

So people of the USA fear not, you always had and you still have brilliant minds, you are just proud of the wrong people.

I am confused by your response there, Myhand. I am not blindly defending US policy against anyone who questions them. I understand that the US has done plenty of shitty things, and I certainly understand that the majority of Americans are dumbasses. Look at our most popular TV shows. With that being said, it is a little tiring to have to constantly defend the reputation of your entire country due to what a few misguided individuals did.

Also, those Europeans are certainly grateful that we saved them from Nazism and/or the Red Hordes of the Soviet Union. Chill out with the anti-American stuff. When someone blindly raves against a massive group of people, the vast majority of which are essentially decent people, it only makes that person seem like a xenophobe (the second worst -phobe there is).

Okay I knew I would be dragged into a discussion.

I am confused by your response there, Myhand. I am not blindly

- not blindly, but at least one-eyed

defending US policy against anyone who questions them.

- but you chose now and here against me

I understand that the US has done plenty of shitty things,

- we are not talking about a distant past, we are talking about the present. Don`t let me get started about even only the recent past. Destroyed elected democracies in Guatemala, Iran and numerous other countries speak for themselves. Most US citizens are unaware of how drastically the plutocratic shape of the USA influences (to put it very mildly!) the lives of people all over the world. And I dont even mean the violent interventions into the sovereignity of foreign states, I mean the economical slavery forced upon them by US economic policies via the WTO, Worldbank and their juristical power through treaties such as the GATT and GATS and many more. Here we have destroyed and / or hostile taken over economies in the central and south america, among them poor Mexico (to close to the bad guy) but generally the whole Latinamerica. A sphere of influence that only now, slowly, possible due to political changes in various south american countries (shift to the political left), expensive US overenvolvement in other regions and fueled by venezolean oil as well as a growing brazilian economy is able to escape the enslaving grip of the USA.

and I certainly understand that the majority of Americans are dumbasses.

- agreed, which is not a correlation to the uncontrolled excesses of foreign and domestic US policies, but rather a causality. Panem et circensis. Bread and games, ancient roman rule of reign. Your highly regarded baseball and enough to eat. Dont think about whats wrong in your country, everything will be fine. Btw, who is going to make the superbowl??? (and yes, I do know that super bowl is american football)

Look at our most popular TV shows.

- not only that. Your whole media industry supports the system. And again i dont even mean only Fox News, the most evident arm of US propaganda. European countries would be ashamed of the mere existence of a station like this, not to mention the popularity it has among a great deal of the US population.

With that being said, it is a little tiring to have to constantly defend the reputation of your entire country due to what a few misguided individuals did.

- how about starting to question your country then? By questioning your countries goals, aims and politics, looking at them less "patriotic" and more unbiased , you defend the reputation of your country the best.

Also, those Europeans are certainly grateful that we saved them from Nazism and/or the Red Hordes of the Soviet Union.

- sounds so altruistic doesnt it? The USA rescued the european people. The same USA that sold weapons to the fasisct Franco Regime only a few years earlier, that helped to destroy the young democratically elected Republic of Spain a few years earlier. The same USA that delayed its entry in the second WW2 to give the europeans more time to wear themselves down, the most dangerous competitors to their own hegemony? The same USA that had the chance to slow down the Genocide of Jews(and others), which has the latest by 1942 been a known fact, if they would have set it on their agenda?

Also, from a logical point of view, you can only reclaim for the USA to have saved europe from either Nazism or the "Red Hordes of the Soviet Union". Since Nazi Germany saw itself already as a defender of Europe against the "communist threat" and was, as we all know, engaged in a war with the Soviet Union. A war they not unlikely could have won without US Intervention.

Chill out with the anti-American stuff.

- I would appreciate if you investigate the history of the term "anti-american". Who brought it up and why. What purpose does it serve. Do some research. I won`t comment it further, but i will give you a quote of a important figure of Nazi germany, violator of Human rights, that he used to his defense at the nuremburg trials:

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country."

Goering at the Nuremberg Trials

Sounds a bit familiar, doesnt it? 9/11 comes to mind quickly.

When someone blindly raves against a massive group of people

- You say blindly in this context , implying my critisicsm is a superficial attack against a country or a group of people. That is not the case and it should be evident. But its a way of defending a position that is hard to defend with arguments.

, the vast majority of which are essentially decent people,

- which is no excuse. By knowing and letting it happen, you have to carry the burden of guilt as well. Or, since you used Nazi Germany as a comparison, did the germans in 1932 turn into bad people and then in 1945 suddenly back into decent people?

it only makes that person seem like a xenophobe (the second worst -phobe there is).

- Its hard to be a xenophob when you are binational. You are kind of confronted with different cultures and points of views, since your early childhood.

My God, talk about sore losers. The winners get to make the rules, dude, and America has been the winner for at least the past 50 years. Don't cry about it. This isn't really a discussion, because the word "discussion" implies that one party or another is going to change their mind, and that simply isn't the case. America is my country, I am not going to talk about it being the root of evil in the world. I honestly don't care what typo-ridden "evidence" you have that I am wrong. Americans are Goddamned stubborn, and Texans are even more so.

It took only two posts for you to reveal your true face, rendering your previous posts as hypocritical, showing your true "character" . Ironically you are showing exactly that kind of ignorance that for most people puts your countrymen into miscredit.
My two posts were nowhere about winners or losers, and even if so, you fail to see that the american people themselves are the losers of their own neoliberalism (but i wont bother explaining that further now, since you wouldnt understand
Sadly the very core of my message completly went past you.

But, no worries, I can translate, in order to make me comprehensible in your language: You are dumb as shit, dude.

okay let me google that for you:
anti american
... American academic Noam Chomsky, a prolific critic of U.S. policy, asserts that the use of the term within the U.S. has parallels with methods employed by totalitarian states or military dictatorships; he compares the term to "anti-Sovietism", a label used by the Kremlin to suppress dissident or critical thought, for instance.[14][15][16][17]
"The concept "anti-American" is an interesting one. The counterpart is used only in totalitarian states or military dictatorships... Thus, in the old Soviet Union, dissidents were condemned as "anti-Soviet." That's a natural usage among people with deeply rooted totalitarian instincts, which identify state policy with the society, the people, the culture. In contrast, people with even the slightest concept of democracy treat such notions with ridicule and contempt ...

next time read, think and reflect on your own before you ever as to only use that word again

No, mate, I am not calling you anti-American because you criticise American policies. That's fine by me, Lord knows I do it enough. I am calling you anti-American because, no joke, you seem to really not like American people or even the idea of America in general. No worries. But I must point out that it is quite rare that I will call out entire countries as being terrible people, nor would I ever be angry at anyone for defending their place of birth, be it city, state (provence), or country. That's unconditional love, and that is natural. Not for Belgians tho, they are a terrible, disgusting people who deserve all the hate the world can give them.
