Need people for testing! 2v2 and/or 3v3!

Trying to finish off my maps before moving on to a new one - (Aselia was done a long time ago - of the three remaining, Suiqua was first, US CBSA's second, this third), so here's the final map.

Base map: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=24815
199 Territories, connects Novo/Ulriks: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=30393
Teal/Aqua map: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=30441
Mid-blue map: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=30696

Names of territories and bonuses come from real-life cities. Territory/Bonus divisions were created by taking a sea depth map and drawing along lines + a bit of imagination where there was no lines.

Now, I want this map to be viable for 2v2/3v3. I guess it's somewhat viable now, but I feel like something's missing in strategy.

I like the concept a lot. Is there a reason why you don't have the Arctic Ocean areas connected to each other?

They're too far away to connect in the normal version - but if we cut a bit of Russia off...

I didn't see a single German city on your map and am therefore disappointed.

Cool, but kind of ugly at the sides. Have you tried making the edge territories just 1 territory instead of 2? I mean those bits on the edge where there's a long line of territories that connect horizontally around the world.

Or you could just make the yellow lines prettier?

Hauptmann apparently hasn't looked next to Argentina. I'm pretty sure that 7 bonus down there is German.

As for Discord, I'll see what I can do about making the sides prettier. It's kind of hard making cross-map connections pretty. ;/

Ah good point. In my defense I only looked at the bonuses (I'm lazy, you know this by now) and Jembke is not of Germanic origin, though it is located in Germany :D

I like that map, nice twist and good marketing, saving the best for last and all. Discord has a good point though, should figure something out with the edges if you can ;)

I doubt that any of these will work (Especially since I keep getting the wrong colors), but I tried some quick ideas. http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=30393

1 (Bottom-right): Just copy-paste the territories over.
2 (Top-right: Copy-paste the territories, but modify them to put an arrow at the end.
3 (Middle-left): Copy-paste the territories, but use Path->Difference to put an arrow in the territory.
4 (Middle-top): Copy-paste the territories, but have them fade away on the sides.
5 (Bottom-left: Just use an arrow.
6 (Original): Just use the yellow lines.

There may be better ideas but that's all I got for now (especially since I have to re-set all the centerpoints since I had to adjust the map size.)

In terms of aesthetics I like the fading territory method (#4) and also find it the least confusing.

I don't like the Kiuruvesi and Kaspiysk territories. The Eurafrazian landmass makes it more strategic, and those territories just don't belong there.
I am also in favour of #4.

I'm not sure if this will help any but I might as well try it.

Yes - I know that the IDL is between Russia and the US in our world - but it would be really inconvenient if they did that in Water Earth, as there's way too much land. The Prime Meridian is a slightly better place to put it, and it's kind of a sneaky way of indicating the map change.

Maybe different colors would work better: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=30696

Bump; testing's going to begin soon - I'd like to see if the map's good for 2v2/3v3 or not.
