Oops. I accidentally deleted the previous thread that had the subject "what happend and whats going to happen."

Sorry about that. There was a bug in my script that was deleting forum posts, and it ended up corrupting the thread, so I just had to delete it since it was corrupt anyway.

I do take a backup of the forums every 24 hours, but since it was a new thread I didn't have it in a backup to restore from.

I'll be more careful in the future.

The unethical behaviour thread is gone too... *intentional or not, nothing of much value was lost I guess. Although the detective work was rather nice.

Someone was complaining that Righ cheated by rigging games to get himself points. I went on the website Righ linked in his profile, and from there I found a bunch of other sites which I posted on the forum and highlighted amusing parts. Some people found other stuff, many people laid in to Righ. Righ defended himself, mainly by attacking everybody else.

A couple of days later he started spam-posting new threads with disgusting/sexual gifs. eg a my little pony doing anal reverse cowgirl. fizzer deleted them and along with it, the main thread itself.

I was banned from the forum by Fizzer, for "posting private information about another player", even though he posted many of his links himself, and all the "information" was easily available online.

He had seen the thread before, but only after righ went beserk did he delete the thread and ban me.

Well, I hope you learned your lesson young man. Don't post public information about others when they are trying to use that information in unethical ways.

I thought what happened was that Fizzer realized the recent surge in ladder participants was actually just new Gnuff accounts, used to allow Gnuff to win more.

What's going to happen? Fizzer thought it was clever, and might do the Gnuffles shuffle too.

All conjecture. I didn't see the actual thread that was deleted. Consider this some of my finest detective work.

The accidental deletion fizzer refers to (that sharpe says had no value) was just an innocuous thread where some people were discussing what was going on with the spam.

Qi that's solid detective work, just write it down on one of those see-through whiteboards or on a window a la the social network. or make a pinboard diagram out of it with pictures of those involved and string etc.
