Yeah I'm alive. I was homeless for a bit and a lot of shit happened but suffice it to say I'm doing well now and have returned.

So I know Inkscape isn't really compatible with Chromebook, but does anyone know a way around it? I lost my old computer but still have all my old files, and I want to get back in the game and finish what I started.

As for what happened, it's nothing extraordinary. To make a long story short, my parents kicked me out because I didn't conform to their religious beliefs (I was going to leave soon anyway, they just expedited the process), and I was homeless for a bit. But then I moved states to stay with a friend and now I'm back on my feet. I'm good now.

bane and clint stop derailing the thread. Vectr is the vector-graphics editor that I personally recommend.

I've tried Inkscape on a mac too. It was almost impossible without mouse.

None until I get an Inkscape-compatible computer (or unless Vectr works on Chromebook--still haven't had the chance to try it). But I do have two ongoing large projects: one is a large, detailed map of the South, and the other is a WWI diplomacy map that I'm collaborating with OnlyThePie on.

I remember that you were strictly religious, though. Have you left the religion of your parents?

No, and that's the fucked up part. I still have the same religious beliefs I did before. They're the ones whose beliefs changed, and when I didn't change with them, they kicked me out.

It is my understanding that Scientology is more of a philosophy to accomplish an end goal. Once they accomplished that goal they probably just went back to their Christian beliefs.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but I'm not a Scientologist.....
