ok so i want to know what you think the worst thing to have been added to warlight in the last year?

i'm going with unity but i admittedly have only played it like twice for ten minutes. it's just really slow to load up and i attribute the game dying to that but all of that could be wrong so idk.

The game's not dying.

From my perspective it is. I used to get auto games in seconds, now sometimes I give up after waiting an hour.

Perhaps all those players and thousands more are elsewhere on the site but to me Warlight is on life support.

Auto games are an obsolete feature. It's actually good fewer people are playing them, as they'll be removed eventually.

You're exaggerating. Autogames fill fairly quickly, but even if they didn't, join QM, have Strat 1v1 the only selected template, there's your autogame, except with better matchmaking and less cherrypicking. Though I suppose less cherrypicking would make it harder for you to maintain your inflated winrate.

I prefer being able to select my opponents. Sometimes I want a gladiator battle and sometimes I want to stomp a noob.

Just get good, then there are no gladiators.
