Hello guys I'm the maker of the Diplomacy World Huge map. The biggest diplo map out here. Some of you may know that this map took endlessly long in development, while here I'm again. This time I'm announcing an update on my old map. The old map which has many issues.

The biggest problem with the old diplo map is that it doesn't run very smooth on the unity client. If you've ever played a unity game on that map you'll notice that a lot of numbers are scattered around the map and some territories are pushed. In short. It's corrupted. I've tried my best updating the map starting this year's january. Fixing the bonus system, assigning new bonus values and adding over an additional 250 territories. However recently Warzone introduced a limit of bonusses whereas a map now only can have no more than 1500 bonusses. This was most troublesome for me as my updated version almost had twice that amount.

That's why I've decided to curb the amount of territories of the original map from 2500 to 1400 in hope so I can still publish the updated version, which by the way is more practical. I'm going to acheive this goal by merging territories together until I get to 1400. This is still under developed. Anyways, I wrote this post because I wanted to let you know on what I'm currently working on.

You should make a 2500 territory version with regular style bonuses.

Are you doing ocean territories for this map (squares)?

yes that's the plan. These ocean tiles are going to replace the remote islands usually used to cross oceans. They are going to be much more efficient. Furthermore each ocean tile has a penalty attached to it so conquering too many oceans will reduce your income.
