Sometimes people are being overly sensitive, some times they aren't. However, a good rule of thumb is to try and understand why people think what you're doing is offensive. If you really can't understand why, figure out if what you're doing is so important to you that it is worth offending people. If that is the case, you can move on with your life doing what you're doing, but you can't pretend you care about not offending people.

Also, explaining to offended parties why what you're doing is actually not offensive rarely works.

Moving along, don't flatter yourself I don't hate anyone on this site, but I've picked up on a general animosity towards stupidity. Can't begrudge people that, though.

Myhand's comment is a great summary of how most intelligent players feel towards the stupidity of some forumers here, but it was another player who highlighted that players change with the right encouragement. Just because players are annoyed by you now doesn't mean they won't warm up to you if you mature, read some books, expand your vocabulary, get your head out your ass, etc.

I'm quite surprised that they don't - surely, a puppet of that status would increase their justification ten-fold! And it would fit perfectly as a clan "mascot", given the fact that [20] has established that position as of low status. (I object to that; there is dignity in the position if one tries.)

It was pretty much dead until I came back from my vacation to realize Heisenberg took a jab at me (and others) in my absence. At least, considering previous posts on other threads he directed at me, I'm pretty sure it was.
