As of the recent departure of JSA, the proving grounds league also with it http://warlight.net/Forum/Thread?ThreadID=6604 . I myself hadn't played on it before, but it looks quite fun. I would like to recreate this league. However I cannot possible do it on my own, doing other things. In fact this is just a idea, to tempt someone to step in and takeover. If your interested please say below.

I don't think [20] fits everyone's skill. I thought that league was just for good players. Proving grounds would be a league to improving players with similar skill levels to mine, higher or lower.

who knows. But I'm guessing I wont be in one, only if there's [20]Z.

fair enough. That's true - even in [20]c the overall level is quite high.

I don't think 1 person should run [20] again. I think we need to come up with a committee of 5 people or so to organize it. I feel like even if JSA wasn't being biased when he was running [20] that some people felt slighted when they expressed their interest and got into a group that they were too skillful for. If we run it using 5 people we could at least spread the bias to random 3-people minimum consensuses.

In comparison to the whole of warlight your good status is debatable. Your solid. I didn't mean no offense. The 83 players in front of u on the ladder and more that don't play. ;)

Top 10 ladder standard (with a run started from scratch). In recent times, many top players are pretty low in the ladder but looking at your stats, you won't be considered at their level. After you reach top 20 minimum ask again ;)

Bananashake - no, as far as i remember, Arun was never invited to any group of [20] league... yet. But that doesn't make you any better. I don't know how good a player you are but here's what you asked for:

I am not entirely sure, but it's likely that every single player in [20]A actually was a ladder #1 at some point (with the exception of non-members from early league when ladder was member-only).
Most of [20]b/c are at least on some templates equally good to the guys from A. Practically all of them capable of taking top of a ladder or already #1s.. Some extremely proficient on their preferred gametypes, most of them exceptionally good all-around.

There aren't really any pre-reqs, but for you to be noticeable enough to be in 20A you have to be able to consistently rank in the top 20 on 1v1 ladder on today's ladder, and a couple top 3s in 2v2 ladder would help you out a lot. Winning hard RRs would be really good as well.. I'll see what I can do and throw some people in a skype convo see what we want to do and how we want to do it. I'm probably not going to be in 20A, atm my skill level is more like uppermid B maybe. Depends on who's interested and such.
