I update the map preview as I go along, so you can see the progress I've made.

As you can see, I've changed many of the territories for a variety of reasons;

|>-to avoid intersections with four or more territories (please tell me if these are not obvious enough)

|>-to keep bridges between two territories

|>-to keep bonuses reasonably obtainable

|>-simply to keep the map from getting too boxy

You can also see that I've numbered all the territories, so if you have suggestions for naming them you can easily post them here.

Those are the weirdest bonus links I've ever seen. What are they? A cloud or something?

Outline of some animal. It looks vaguely familiar, I bet it's considered an icon of the Discworld series or something.

They were actually just something I had traced out for a different map. I was waiting for someone to comment on them. Before I finish I will swap them out for something more relevant.

Thanks for the names, keep them coming. I'll sort out any major bonuses after all the territories are drawn and probably after the map has been tested a bit, in case I have to make any major changes.

In completely unrelated news, I found out today that I'm going to be a father. :-) I can't tell any friends or family yet until we get some more blood tests done, but I can't stand not to tell anybody, so you're hearing it here first.

Well played, RvW. Got a solid laugh out of me on what's already been quite a good day. Surely now I'll have enough nervous energy over the next 7 or 8 months to actually finish that map, too. No promises on the names though, some of those make me cringe.
