^^I think the main problem in the Middle East might be premodern memes. Many people claim that Saudis are lazy. However it seems that they are lazy in an elitist way comparable to the nobility (i.e. work is only for the slaves) instead of in a peafowlish way (i.e. hey let's drink some alcohol and seduce 20 women who will feed us lol).
