Even if attack-only is barely used, it should still be included in templates that use transfer-only because it is useful feature. Is it really that much more effort to tick a box? I really don't see why it isn't included. Before it was just the 3v3 ladder, now it seems to have moved on to Quickmatch.

In Fizzer's logic, a useful feature that provides game depth (and that is not mandatory to use or to even know the existence of) makes the game unfriendly for noobs.
On the other hand, still in Fizzer's logic, MME Commanders LD No Cards and Multi-Attack MME Light Fog LD are totally fine.

As QM is now available to flash, l I have been playing and this came as surprise to me as well. Why transfer-only, but not attack-only?

If you are not joking, then I just do not understand how it makes the game unfriendly for newbies. Newbies may not get it at first glance, but if they advance the eventually end up in setting page or history and notice such interesting feature, which gives advantage when used properly against those who are unaware of it.

QM ratings should try to match equal rating players. So most of the times newbies will be playing with newbies and neither of them use it.

Percentage attack is missing as well.

Yes, but Strategic 1v1 (Rank 4) and Strategic 2v2 (Rank 6) needs them, because 1v1 ladder and 2v2 ladder uses them and will be good to practice them in QM ;)
