The player Gargamel http://warlight.net/Profile?p=716415378 has earned 4 million points in the last 30 days. How is that even possible. When I play tons of games a day (with a decent win rate) I get around 1,000,000 points, and I remind you that's when I play A LOT. How can someone get 4 million!!! I am aware that he puts up a lot of lottery tournies. I checked out the settings (not joining) in those tournies and they were round robin 1v1 duel lotteries. Despite playing all those lotteries he still has a good (69%) 1v1 win rate and he has only played 2.5 thousand games. So any ideas on how he could have gotten so many points while playing reletively not so many games and still maintain a high win rate?

He makes lotteries tournament. He makes so much that I have 5 pages of lotteries tournaments. The only reason why I earned 1million the past 30 days are because of him.

He sometimes make 20 games of 13 players lotteries, he also makes multiday games on open games and he has his own ways.

And he makes 4 million and is still on lv.54, it's getting harder to level up.

hmm one day i saw he was playing 134 games at once, next day he was playing 80 games at once, and day after that hes back up to 140 games at once. I'm having a hard time explaining how he has 60 game fluctuations like that

You guys could have asked me directly haha. I stay active is the answer.. and I supplement lotteries with autogames to stay above the 50% suggested average for 1v1 lotteries.

4.2 million is level 4 to 55 in a month, since there weren't levels when I played in the past and I earned the birthday achievements while idle. Aiming for 5 million, if it matters to ya. I also have the habit of growing quickly when I play a game, whether it's Warcraft or freakin Candy Crush. I design and play games for work so it's just a paid skill I've acquired.

Also, although I don't play much on the ladders, I got up to 17th when I tried it out so it's not all about lottery games.. Warlight is a beautiful strategy game and I appreciate it the way I admire Chess.

Game fluctuations are because I do round-robins and people are slower than me at taking turns, so the quantity that is pending rises and falls drastically day to day.

I played him in a Europe map 2v2 once and my level 52 friend and I were destroyed so I know its not all lottery games. I don't have good internet in India so I cant count on net being back up so I cant play real time games but I can join lotteries that are on twice a day so im in his a lot when I don't boot.

Warlight is a beautiful strategy game and I appreciate it the way I admire Chess.

Is chess won with the flip of a coin? I cannot really understand how you can take much satisfaction from playing endless lottery games.

If you look carefully, you will notice some really sneaky prerequisites in the settings.
They prevent their main race-rivals from joining the games!





Which make perfect sense, after all everyone can make up to only 3 open-seat games and 3(?) tournaments at a time.

So, since they are kind of limited as to number of lottery games they can participate in, they need to decide what kind of lottery game they play (how big).

Imagine how they calculate which option is better, how they form alliances to join more games, how they need to plan ahead, time management seems also really important... Chess seems easy now.
Imagine how it must feel like when you manage to outsmart them all and end up 1st in the "Highest Level Players" list...





Pretty sure there is more about it, I just scratched a surface.

All in all, it's a whole new world of competitiveness I wasn't even aware of. Until yesterday. My sincere apologies for everything disgraceful I ever said about lottery games. This is a post to make all of you also aware about how wrong you are.

Just playing hundreds of 1 turn games isn't a big achievement.

All those lotteries destroyed the meaning of levels. It doesn't say anything about how good a player is, if he's got level 50 or so.

Well when you are at level 54 I really don't see the point. You've lost your ability to say that you just want to level up for options. Now you are an attention whore who just wants to get all the points they can so they can leave their whorish life and start somewhere new where you father isn't constantly berating you and where Social Services cant find you and your twelve children who are constantly screaming and demanding food, you want food? GET A EFFING JOB FREELOADER...sorry got off topic, but yea I don't see the point.
