I dont know maybe this was raised and discussed before, but LD template without light fog (in particular LD France) should not be on RT ladder, as LD in principal is not RT template.

If it does not have light fog, usually it is very difficult to evaluate strength of opponent and games tend to last much longer, than an RT game should last.

friendly reminder that also the last community voting was clear that no we dont want the commanders and especially not the local deployment templates there, nor 2 templates on same map causing settings confusion, and that a veto system would be the best move going further as seems to be working fine for MDL and QM.

i have to sometimes surrender on LD france RT games, simply because I do not have the bloody time to invest in a long drawn out LD game. It should go.

Yeah, we had a template voting 2 years ago on RT ladder. Aside from introducing one decently liked template like French Brawl it changed nothing because Fizzer decided that LD and commanders truly need to be there. Add to that that there is only so many times you want to play a template and they didn't change at all in a long time, as well as CLOTs that are made better than RTL... and what you get is a dead ladder that is not avoided only by the biggest maniacs on the site, retired players joining for their first game since few months or trolls blocking #1 with their inflated ratings from 3 years ago.

So, one would say: You could have avoid this! Why didn't you invest in RT ladder?
