I realize this isn't "true to form", but nevertheless seems like a fun game where build up is done and we are in the middle of war. Please check it out: http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?TemplateID=151218
I'm hoping to play it one or two more times to see if it needs any tweaking.

Tip: also usable as single player, simply change the URL to http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer.aspx?TemplateID=151218

Don't forget to pay attention to the non-standard bonuses. Most are only -1 or +1 compared to the default values, but both Hawaii and Korea went from 0 to 2 and Japan went from 0 to 7! Also keep in mind each 6 territories are worth one additional army of income.

@Euwheellews:
I only had time to play once, but so far I liked it. It's nice to play with non-standard settings sometimes.

For the multi-player, are the slots automatically assigned to teams? In single player they can be shifted around, making a really uneven game. (I took Japan in the first turn and we had the income lead for good.)

RvW- thanks for single player- I tried one round with that. I've noticed the computer doesn't understand that Japan is worth 7 armies and Antartica is total wasteland with 300+ armies. I did Japan at 7 on purpose.
Muppet- AIs don't understand the values it seems. We have one 3v3 game ongoing and the one owning Japan knows importance of keeping it secure. Yes- multi player assigns all territories.

AI's just see bonuses, they don't determine their value..
AI's also see armies, and each army is meant to be taken down... any game that uses massive wastelands as a path limitor will not work well with AI's, because they will build up to break those wastelands..

I tried making a SP Medieval: Total War, scenario once, complete with thegolden horde breaking through wastelands eventually, but if I recall it didn't work out that hot..

hi,i like this map very much,but i've found a BUG of it..
we can't get any extra armies before having 36 territories,because we can't get both basic and extra amries,only the larger.and the game will usually be ended soon if someone have 36 or more territories...
so this setting becomes a useless one.
(i'm a Chinese,maybe i've made some grammar mistakes,please don't mind that!)

that is intended.. I am unsure if the template maker realizes precisely how it works, and accounted for it, however..

If you ever get around creating another game with this scenario, count me in, it looks interesting.

G- I'll invite you next time. As for bonus for extra territories- really didn't want that to be a big emphasis on the game.
