What constitutes "real" tacos? As far as my hazy memory allows me to remember, tacos consist of two (2) corn tortillas, meat (I prefer barbacoa), cilantro & onions, and a lime wedge. Although I'd settle for Taco Bell, at this point...

1. Taco Bell uses beef. Real tacos general consist of chicken (barbacoa works).
2. Taco Bell puts cheese on their tacos. Real tacos rarely have cheese.
3. Taco Bell makes their tacos spicy. Real Mexican Tacos or almost never spicy.

Vapor, they don't MAKE them spicy, but my taquerias back home always gave out insanely hot salsa verde. And to say that "real" tacos don't have beef...I question that...

I debate whether or not taco bell uses beef... I prefer to call it a beef like substance..
and taco bell taco's aren't spicy.. unless you consider the hot sauce you get on the side, which I don't.. since I can't stand hot foods.. but real mexican food is good enough I make an exception..

Taco Bell's food is of just about the worst quality possible. Regardless of that fact, it's pretty much the best fast food place in America, as they make this terrible food taste like heaven. (and no their food isn't spicy)
