I'd kinda like to start up a tournament for newbs, with a membership as the prize. Is there some auto setting that would facilitate this, or must it be done manually? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if you question relates to the "for newbs" part or the prize part.

You can create a tournament that only new players can join by making it an open tournament and disable invite forwarding. Then you can set prerequisites on who can join. For example, you could limit it to accounts created in the last 30 days.

You can gift a membership for the winner by adding them to your invite list, and selecting their name from the drop-down on the purchase page.

Why would you want newbs in the ladder rather than much more veteran players in the ladder, who know what they're doing?

Sorry that was unclear. I was speaking to the prizes part; basically, I want to set it and forget it, and have the winner get the prize promised. I can get the newbs part.

@Bishes; I like this game a lot, and want Fizzer to get paid. Veterans probably would have bought it by now if they were going to, so I focus on newbs who are more likely to tell all their friends. Also, I'm slightly drunk and feeling generous.

If Fizzer wants, I will pay him and he can hold the tournament in my name. I'm Okay with this.

Nice idea, but you have to realize, that also experienced players will take part of the tournament by creating a second account. How do you think of controlling this?
