"Danish prince" is a reference to Hamlet (I like Shakespearean characters).
As many people thought I was a Dane, I added "non" before "Danish".
"Gay" indicates I'm sexually attracted to individuals with of my same gender.
It is also kind of a pun, as Hamlet is distinctively melancholic and "gay" also means "happy".
Finally, "A" makes my nickname alphabetically relevant and even more awesome.

It's a mix between my family name and... guess who? :)
It started as a D&D-red box (tabletop) character (a magic user, can you immagine?) back in '86, and I used it the first time I peeked into the Internet in '99.
It stuck, and from then I'm Gugliandalf everywhere on the net.

Having never had a profile on an online game before, I was wondering what name to use. I went on a nickname generation site and had things like *Unpreventable Commander* and *The Endless Permanent Skeleton* come up.
Disregarding those, I thought about some old names from The Mighty Boosh, such as *Captain Margaret the fantastic dealer of Wounds* and *Fire Boy - watch him go with his legs all over*, but realised they were probably too long.
Then I thought, I'm definitely going to use yellow as my colour so... sod it. Keep it simple.
