(1) Terracotta Soldiers
http://photoalbum.davison.ca/ZhenPhotoDiary/Pages/Terracotta.cfm

Each terracotta soldier is a territory. Territories connect to adjacent soldiers. Rows (pits) cannot connect to parallel rows (pits). The map functions like a maze of parallel rows of soldiers that connect with perpendicular columns of soldiers.

(2) Egyptian Labyrinth

The battlefield is in an Egyptian pyramid, and the territories are the maze-like tunnels, chambers, tombs, mummies, etc.
