I always though surrender overruled vote to end, but it doesn't as can be seen in this game

My 2 teammates surrendered right at the start so I asked for a vote to end. I voted myself. After that I booted the other guy to make it a lil more fair and eliminated a 2nd. Then after a few more turns the 3rd guy of their team surrenders and turns AI. Normally at this point AI would offer an surrender but as I was the only player still there and I still had a vote to end, the game was voted to end instead of the AIs surrendering.

As can be seen in the last turn of the game my team was clearly going to win. So I want to know. Working as intended?

I really, really doubt the rules take current standing into account, so that statement is moot; the exact same thing would (and *should*) have happened if you were clearly in a losing position.

Can I ask why you didn't revoke your VTE after a few turns (when you got into a winning position)?

Bots don't have a vote in voting to end..

start a game with 2 players and 5 bots.. when you VTE, only the two players names are on the list of required/accepted VTE's.. so since, when that player surrender and turned into an AI, before the AI's could take the active stance of surrendering, as the game determines they should, the already present stance of a completed VTE completes, and the game is determined as a VTE

You booted someone 'to make it even'? i think that makes this something called Just Deserts...

Well it dose sound stupid that when only you and ai are left that your vte applies. I think that should be changed.
And voting someone out to make it even is nooby to most people, but if game is set so that is posble I think thats hosts problem, the player probably had enough time to play anyway...

Simple. Should've rescinded your VTE. Problem solved.

I like being able to vote when It's just me and AIs.

When the Ais are not set to surrender, and I've obviously won on a huge map, most of the time I would rather vote.

In a situation much like yours, but where one of my team-mates boots unfairly, if eventually it's only me and Ais, I'd rather vote.
