I have a few questions for anybody who is more familiar with Inkscape.
1. Is it possible to 'lock' an object so that it can't move? I repeatedly drag the background image around without intending to because the warlight editor is click-and-drag but Inkscape is scrolling only.
2. This is a very amateur question, but I'm curious. Will inkscape always recognize different colors as different objects? It would make sense to me if it did, but it would be nice to be able to map all the background objects together (i.e. without a million nodes) to lower the file size. Simplify rounds too many corners, and the union and combine functions inherently give the objects the same fill.
Also, the original link to my map preview no longer works, as I've switched to a duplicate after adding the background. The new [Bloomridge Map](
http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer.aspx?PreviewMap=8794) is now the working link. Thanks in advance for any help!
P.S. Busy week this week, probably going to be next weekend before I'm close to testing, in case anybody was waiting.
