I am 185cm tall, and it just happens that almost every person I've played with is way shorter than me. I would say most of them are at the lower end of 170's, with some in the 160's and very few being 180cm or taller. Considering that the vast majority of Warlight players are male, and that the western average male height is about 175cm - 180cm, how is this possible? We all know that nobody likes/respects shorties. Is Warlight a gathering place for all the social outcasts who want to feel normal?

Any ideas?

Haha well im 6'-4" (not sure about cm) but i do believe all the social outcasts simply either the only ones with a Mind to play this game or simply social outcasts period..... lol

I'm 185cm.

Consider the average age of a Warlight player is younger than the average western male, with many not-fully-grown teenagers playing. Warlight's community is also very diverse so the average height of a Warlight player may be influenced by that of people from other parts of the world.

Edit: I've just measured myself, I think I'm more like 185cm so I've changed it.

6'0" is what 180 something? I'm not a social outcast. It is problably as Green says. Many players are young (not in high (secondary) school), and many are oriental.

"Oriental" is not racist, but equalizing below average height with social outcast, is.

Maybe the taller are better at Warlight.

You could argue that teenagers (and below?) may be both shorter than average and worse strategically (through lack of knowledge and experience) than average, but I don't buy it. I believe the number of players that have finished growing outway those who still have some growing to do, and thus many of these players that we (might?) see a correlation in are no longer getting taller with age, so it wrecks that argument.

I'm not going to try and link ethnicity to skill at Warlight so let me skip to my opinion.

Taller people look at the ground and their surroundings at a steeper angle (a more 'bird's eye' point of view). This gives them practice with this kind of perspective and so when it comes to Warlight they can process what they see much more clearly than shorter people. Hence the correlation that we obviously see.

Lion has confirmed it! He is a shrimp. Ergo, based on my bird's eye view of the shrimps behind him whom he speaks on behalf of, it is safe to say that WL is full of shrimps. Case closed.
