This is really just for people who have maade a map. I got plenty of map Ideas but I am not sure if I want to create them now. How long did it take to make your first map> I know its frustrating and there's all these good tips but I can just look on the wiki for those.

depends how much experience you have with inkscape or similar programs and the size of your map. Best advice I can give is: start with a simple one, it will help you understand all the processes and how to optimize those for your next map. This will save you a lot of time and the output will be better.

I think I was busy for 5 days or a week with Europe Small, but because of the mayor changes after the first release the whole process took roughly a month.

i did my first map few weeks ago (lebanese israeli wars) and i had never used inkscape or anything similar before. i think it took me more than a week, probably 10 days at a couple of hours a day (and a few extra hours on weekends). it can be a bit tedious, but it´s really great when you play on your own map the first time ...

lol i dont even knoe how to make a map, i want to make Great Britain Big.
