I think squiggles is referring to how the law sees nationality, and not what people identify as/ where their parents come from

I believe that a person is named after his/her geographical birthplace. Even if the parents came from a very different place.

Nationality is your homeland where you live right now. You can have ancestors from abroad and therefor have a foreign heritage, though.

I'm Dutch, because of me being born in the Netherlands. But I'm also 75% Hamitic and 25% Semitic, and this is because of my ethnicity. Nationality and ethnicity are separate things, but a lot of people get confused by it.

Moldova is maybe a shit country but at least we are not FAKE like Scotland XD cant you into independence? LMAO

But anyway I agree with you, Moldova should not exist: Russia and the commies are responsible of the dismantling of Greater Romania, Moldova is part of Romania we are the same people, but we cant unite with Romania because of those drunk ruskie colonists of Transnistria... Another reason I hate Russia.
Moldova would be way richer by now without them.

I think I will go to Romania, we have advantages as moldovan and currently romanian situation (except politics) is not bad, it is the fatest growing economy of the eu. And with romanian visa, i can go elsewhere to europe like germany.

'' university is free for EU nationals''

In other words you're shouldering the burden for others and thus enabling failure.

Your approach is so wrong. As well suggestions listed in this thread. First let us know what do you want to study and then see where it is taught. You can find most popular fields in any UNI, but that does not mean they have same quality standards.

You can find many University rankings or just EU UNI rankings on internet. Just to let you know, do not conclude that it applies on any field though on UNI - its the average. So sometimes learning something X on 400th (ranked) UNI may offer you much more than being in one of top 200 UNI-s. Somewhat field rankings give you much truer picture - but after all its just ranking.

Secondly, as most people face, the money is going to be an issue. So if you are making a decision, have you counted for that? Does living costs matter, should the UNI be free or what is your upper limit per year costs?

I would start from there. Field and money and then make a list of possible UNIs and where they are located. Then would start looking closely how they differentiate.

Thirdly - Language. That you can speak language X, does not mean you are capable of doing academics with it: learning/writing/thesis.

Whats the point of learning Russian law (implying law matter on Russia :P), when you are sure you want the live in Moldova? Just to give an example. Other than that, why do you want to go for UNI - just for fun, student partying, serious academics, profession choice? All such things matters. If one asks what UNI to go on random forum - I usually suggest not to go at all, because obviously one has not thought this trough at all.

Warlight forum should not be place to look that kind of advice. The best advice I can give is go look forums/facebook groups for UNI communities. If you end up finding some Moldavian X UNI groups - then they can help you much more than any of us here.

@ Ion who is not Vlad the Impaler

Just trying to give real advice.
Your question is not irrelevant, just your approach is wrong - in my opinion. What is your underlying statement. If it is UNI choice independent of quality of the particular field and mainly supported by argument where you want to stay for the rest of your life (stable and safe for future family). Then first look over citizenship and permanent residence permit laws. And then choose countries, where you are sure you can get your papers on order. Not every country offers that so easily and may find more than few arguments to send you out right after your study-years end.

The example was given to make a point, not to be factual in your case. I also doubt that science is thought same everywhere. Have seen too many foreign students with imagined future plans, that will never come to true, because they do not understand the simple concepts of citizenship, work permit, residence permit -> although now in EU this is rather softened for everyone.

Good Luck to you anyhow!
