Is there any effect to your change in rank/score if you boot a player who is taking too long in the 1v1 Ladder or does it still count as a win just like any other? I'm just worried that winning in this way has been programmed as 'less' of a win than a surrender or wipeout. Anyone know the answer to this?

You can't actually boot people anyways... the direct and auto boot are both set to three days. So should someone exceed that time limit, Warlight will boot them and not you.
So fear not, you can't be blamed for it at all.
