I wish there was a quit button.

One that you could push say 3 moves into a game and you just quit, not a surrender.

Would come in handy when you realize, oops, you can't finish the game, or, hey, these guys are pricks I'd rather split.

After 2 or three moves you could only surrender.

Such button is open for abuse - "ooops, I landed near an enemy and I'm not comfortable with it... I rather quit"; or like "oops, I didn't see this guy's win ratio is over 80%, I rather quit..."

So, if you really need to go, just excuse yourself and ask to vote to end. It could happen to anyone, and most guys here are not pricks, so they'll agree.

If this was implemented they would need another server to handle the influx of 'please blacklist this player' posts.

It would certainly encourage people to try the riskiest gambits possible. First turn bonuses, risky expansion moves, unlikely attacks, etc.

If it fails on the first turn you just quit, rather than dealing with the downside of risk.

Not a good idea at all.
