In the RR I'm in, all he said was for you to prove yourself. In this thread, he has not responded to what you've said in a while, and the only response he gave was a legitimate resposne to your question: "why he put himself in the top 10 list." as well as for you to prove yourself again. Unless there's some ridiculous hate comments coming from him in the other RR tournament, I don't see a reason for you to continue posting negative comments towards him. It's blatantly rude.

such vitriol. dazedandconfused, you are wrong for 4 reasons:

1. that list of 10 is not what i truly think (as stated above). it is simply a stock list of players who have been #1 (including myself) or high (nuckluck) on both ladders lately + zibik.
2. i only made the list bc i assumed facebook questions require a set of answers to the question posed. so when i discovered that my list was not saved and any respondent can type in their own answer, i said: "even better facebook lets you add whomever you want." (if you can't follow the logic, i'll be more explicit: i prefer allowing others to nominate their own contestants.)
3. i didn't vote for myself. i voted for zibik. he has won most of the 1v1 tournaments i've made lately. and he is an expert at more than 1 map (world and poland).
4. the primary purpose of the thread was stated rather clearly: "i'm just pimpin' [20] page really." it is a gimmick to make the facebook page more interactive.

so the list doesn't matter to me (#1, #2 above) and was not the primary purpose of the original thread (#4 above). if that is not clear enough for you, i can't help you.

your attacks have been to my person. mine have been about your arguments or skills. in the game, i talked trash (in a sportive way, like men do in competitive sports). you resorted to psycho-emotional babble (this style of arguing is better suited for sibling rivalries in america).

so after being called 'the dumb kid' here (the last thing i said to you before you called me a dumb kid was "welcome back, it's too bad about your computer") and 'a 5 year-old' in the game i made, i decided i didn't want to play you after all and deleted the game thursday night (in asia). as far as i'm concerned, you don't exist.

This is all silly. Everyone knows that there is one and only one way to determine who is the best: Invasive surgery.

Each player is anesthetized and an incision is made in the abdomen. The pancreas is removed and placed on a scale. Whoever has the heaviest pancreas is declared the best player in warlight and is made king of us all.

I don't understand what's causing the personal attacks towards Yuan (and now also towards myself). You've yet to give a good reason as to why he's not entitled to his opinion, not to mention he did not even vote for himself. I've personally not seen anything even remotely similar to a personal attack from Yuan towards you. He responds to your childish namecalling with legitimate responses, and yet you go back to immaturity every time.

And before you continue attacking me or my playing style, I've never claimed nor do I currently claim to be in the top 10 of players around here.

I also think for anyone who's reading this thread, it's pretty obvious that you're intent on derogatory name-calling, while the rest of us are just answering in the civil manner, so I'd think twice before continuing with the behavior you've shown.

Everyone, big or small, has a degree of biased, the far out best way to resolve, in my opinion, a ridiculous and petty argument is to play.

There is no way to vote the best. thats just dumb XD (no hard fellings). Unless you've played about 100 games with everyone of the people on the ballot in 1v1s 2v2s 3v3s on many maps you cant measure there skill and i dont think theres many players with 10000 games.Plus there are different styles that would be too hard to measure. thats like asking is jujitsu or muay thia better. Two seperate machines. There is no way to figure out the best overall players. just cause some one loses once or even 10 times to one player dosent mean hes worse than him. There are tons of games i lost that should have won and tons ive won i should have lost. You might as well ask who are the top 10 musicians.

- You don't have to be a nice or respectable person to be good at warlight, though you do to be a good member of the warlight community. Yuanshui is observably good enough to be a reasonable contender for a list of "top 10 players", but we seem to lack any consensus as the the criteria by which membership in said list could be judged.

- I bet if D.A.M.P. were still playing, he'd be a contender for this list. All of the ones listed thus far that I have any knowledge of do seem to be great players :) I remember Duke being good too, and Mor, and Ruthless. Plenty of people who aren't consistent have played absolutely brilliant games too, so being the best is still never going to guarantee victory, which is part of the beauty of warlight.
