It's not strictly cheating because it was part of the game's settings. If you read the list of updated incomes for Austria and Hungary, they are both 1000 bonus.

So they didn't hack the system of anything.

That said, they guy who did it makes a good blacklist candidate if you don't have the time to check all of the settings for your games.

uhh, that makes sense. People normally says you shoulda read the settings before you join. But that is a lot of territories to look through there lol.

what is annoying is that on the map the income info shows 10 for austria and hungary, probably because 1,000 is too big to show. indeed: who did this is a strong blacklist candidate

They were also smarter in their methods by adjusting all the bonuses in the hopes that the two true changes would get lost in the shuffle. You could easily scan through the bonuses and not see the real cheats despite your efforts to uncover them.

Add in Chump's point about the 1000 showing as 10 and it was a well-played deception.

a little message saying check settings would have be nice.

whether it shows 10 or 10000 on the counrty shouldnt make a difference. when i join games i look on the settings page in the bottom right. If there is a lot going on down there i know i need to spend a little more than a few seconds looking at the settings before i decide to join.

These type of games are fine if everyone playing knows whats going on.
