Are you using Inkscape or another program to create it?

Entirely blank - nothing, empty black window? You didn't do something silly like drawing black territories on black background? ;)

Did it upload without any errors?

Did you trace the territories by hand? (Just embedding an image into SVG won't work.)

(Maybe we could see the SVG? That would make helping you much easier.)

Actually black territories on a black background isn't a problem. When you upload the SVG, anything marked as a territory will show up as white. If nothing shows up, your most likely problem is that you haven't defined the territories as territories.

Read [this](http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Creating_the_SVG) section of the wiki to try and solve your issue. If you're still having problems, what I did was open a new InkScape file and practice by uploading small, simple shapes to the WL map designer until I understood how it works.
