Ok so ive read the tutorials and all but i still cant get the hang of making a map. The part im most confused on is how to "link" together the territories i create. That would solve almost all my problems if i could do that. Any info?

Linking the territories is done in Warlight once the map has been uploaded. Same goes for naming the territories.

The pre-upload design has to have territories named properly and thats about it (for basics)

So your map is coming up but you can't make any links between the territories, right?

Have you made the center points on each territory?
Once that is done, use the connection tool (the straight line, hotkey 3) and drag it between two center points to make the connection.

Ok awesome thanks! Ive been trying to do this for like a week. Im an idiot apparently. Now how do i make them into bonus'? I have to use inkscape and put them in groups first right?

No! Groups are strictly forbidden on WarLight maps!
You must use the in-game map designer, find the button that says: "Bonuses Window", click it, click on "Add new bonus", type everything you want, then click any territory you want to be part of that bonus, and check the box of your bonus on the left of your screen.

You have to make the squares (or whatever shape you want) for the bonuses in Inkscape and name them accordingly (LinkBonus_BonusName... cap sensitive for the first half, no spaces in the name).

Once done, upload the new SVG and create the bonuses with the appropriate names (spaces allowed). From there you set the color, value and territories in a bonus.
