dude is clearly being manipulated, and the girl (even though she may not want to) isn't making an effort to stop
if i were in that position i would give her a warm invite over
when she shows up I make a really worried look and tell her that I'm sorry
eyes open to show a bit of emotion like as if someone had just passed away
and then b*tch slap her to the ground
tell her that I'm sorry but it's just that I simply love her way too much to stand for it
also tell her how much I care about her, and then start getting physical afterwards and absolutely refrain from being a soft cuddly bear
and if she doesn't run out the door in the first 5 seconds, relationship will rapidly devolve into a lust-fueled one for the next week or two until she gets preg
the guy knew her since they were small, so he never had to fight for her attention and prolly never felt jealousy. he wasnt trying to fight for her, and was probably just very confused.
and she felt loved her entire life (by him) but it might have got boring for her over time and someone that has experience with women (the old guy was married) comes along and was able to get her attention real quick.
after all the stuff she did with the old dude and went all the way, the guy forgave her and they even slept together, so she prolly felt like he is okay with it and she can do whatever she likes. it was his fault, but he wasn't experienced enough to know otherwise
