oi lads,

so, after playing for quite a bit (currently in 516 games) i came across the problem of having to play newest games first, since those load first and after i commit orders, im able to press "next game" to move on to the next game. that means that before i can play the game that's been waiting for me the longest, i have to get through hundreds of other games. this increases the risk of me getting booted for not doing my turn on time in later games. is there a way to sort by oldest first, or something? (like, have an option so that games that you were invited to but haven't joined yet show up first while games where you just have to do your turn or pick territories show up after? having a sort feature of some sort would improve things. especially for people that play a lot of games.

or at least add an option to skip a game. like, there are games in which i can do my turn quickly because its obvious what the best option is, while other games, i have to think and plan things out. i want to get rid of the quick games quickly and save the games where i have to think a bunch for last when i can not worry about having a bunch of other games that i haven't done my turn in. i sometimes check how many other players havent done their turn yet and then just deploy all my armies onto one territory just so i can comit to move on, and come back to that game later. but that increases the risk of me forgetting to that game if i skipped a few that way.

This was answered by Fizzer once. He said something like: putting 'newest' games first is helping to make games go faster (for example if both players are online), while oldest games first would kind of promote procrastination.

well, im not saying they should change it to oldest first. they should give an option. because i don't play real-time games and 99% of my games have 5+ participants, so its very likely, if possible at all to have all participants online at any given time. so newest first just makes me stress out and doesn't help me much. my speed for games is pretty quick as it is. this wont make me any slower.

Use Mulis userscript.
It allows you to filter in a way that puts the games in which youre closest to getting booted on top. ALthough this isnt perfect (if a game has a longer boottime, it mightve been your turn for a longer period of time, but it sill wont be at the top) its the closest to what you want.
