I've been out of the game for a while, but I wouldn't mind perhaps making a map or two of one of the missing countries. Truth be told I'm working on another supermap at the moment, so another little side project wouldn't hurt

I'm happy to say I've contributed quite a lot to this, and wouldn't mind doing another african country. They don't always go down well in ratings because its going to be a country nobody's heard of or cares about and they all have quite boring geography (just a land mass with no interesting rivers or islands).
Most island countries literally are impossible to make proper maps out of without inventing boundaries. I made a bad map of the tiny caribbean islands all together if that counts but I guess not.

I did a map on the mashreq region. It's not a country and nobody knows about it and includes territory from quite a few countries.

No see I found a map that has administrative divisions for each district as well; the districts' names I know, it's the divisions' names within the districts that were unspecified, as seen here: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5f/Turkmenistan_districts.png

Wikipedia was vague on which division was which, which doesn't help...

I like to go as deep as possible when building maps like this. I like my maps big, so the more territories the better.

Me too. I prefer either maps that are 100 territories or less, or just massive freaks of nature. Really no in between for me.
I'd like to help test when you eventually get it done.

It's coming along nicely, it certainly won't be as large as my two largest maps (both over 2000), but it should still be a nice size I think. And yeah I'll post it in here when it's done so people can test it!

Only have three bonuses left and about 40 territories left to draw on Uzbekistan. Looks like the final territory count will be 172, sadly.

That's not too bad. May we have the link for us to preview it?
