Have a look at this
http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1727976

He is going to report me because I booted him even though the game is obviously over. Is there a rule that is going to get me banned or anything because I didn't respect the "autoboot" limit?

lol of course not. there is absolutely nothing wrong with booting. If someone doesn't want to boot people before auto boot, why not set the manual boot time the same as auto boot time.

Oh, you are in such big trouble mister!

I mean, how dare you follow the established rules and regulations? Clearly that is a bannable offense! Merits the stiffest of punishments possible.

Gotta love when people make up their own rules and try to enforce them on others. Even more amusing in this case since it was the game creator that was complaining.

Kudos to you. I generally try to respect the autoboot limits in RT games, in cases where the game is still going. When I am crushing the opponent with 50 reinforcements (on auto games), I will boot them as soon as I can. No sense prolonging the inevitable.
