can you update the graph now? now ⅔ of maps has avarage rating (not TBD or 0)

If you're going to update it, my third map is pending public with 100 territories.

I only have one map on public, but I'm going to get on that list. I'm working on my second map and I have ideas for a third map.

No map is unesisary, there is no such thing as unecisery effort. Your imagination and map ideas are yours along. Make the map share it with overs. Dont let a warlight member telling you what to make. Its your map, your time, your ideas. No offense Richard

Wait, so the Nehterlands Map doesn't count as mine in your graph? That means that even when I finish my Terra Incognita map, I'll have to make another map to join the club?

Okay, here's a new graph. It's a little outdated, that was because I wanted to add more but forgot it.



And I raised the bar for people to be featured in the graph. Because of the flood of new maps lately, my graph would have become less visible.

Currently, Fizzer is the best (rated) map builder, with Chaos as second and Muppet and Evreux not far behind.

Oh great, so now I have to make four maps. Gee, Moros, you're sure getting under my skin this evening... :-\

Very interesting graph. It would be interesting to see all map makers and those averages (probably would have to link to that image, not post it directly).

Then you could see who could really use some tips.

I'd love to see a bell curve of the average map rating for all published maps (take maker out of the equation all together). Then you could see if we have a large number of bad maps or good maps, or a standard deviation.

Thats a little iffy Chris beacouse what people as a good map could be someone elses bad map. But you could use ratings to determin that but still a little iffy

Well, there are different reasons why something is rated bad or good. Something might be well made (no errors), but just have no depth to it (like duel).

Doesn't really matter why, I'd just be curious to see if we have a glut of 'bad' maps, regardless of why they are considered bad. It just means there are a bunch of maps most people don't want to play taking up space.

Interesting! It's good to see that there are more good than bad maps. But it could also be that Warlight players don't like to give maps a bad rating.
Also, this graph only shows about 4/5th of all maps, but I think it's close enough.
