Is it a good idea to triple pick in East russia central russia and West China?

It's almost never a good idea to triplepick. Limits map coverage too much.

Sure there is a time and a place to triple pick. But I think the big problem with triple picking asia is that unless you take ALL of Eurasia that situation is nearly undefendable. It would just be too easy to spoil your bonuses.

It can be very easy to win if opponent triplepicked though. If I predict enemy doing it, it takes me only one pick to destroy all of opponent's income, while the other two picks of mine are safe. I had many games like that. It can depend on the exact board (how wastelands are placed etc), but generally you should be instead looking at multiple areas of good income and be prepared for opponent's actions.

If West Russia or Central Russia is an FTB from using picks from West Russia, Central Russia and Caucasus, yes, as long as there aren't any wastelands in any of those three bonuses or nearby. It only works if you have good expansion options and can play it well. This has worked for me many times.

And only 0.1% of those players will be top players who understand the game correctly. There are some scenarios in which you can try, but usually it is not advised as you miss safety and coverage.
