I invited 11 of the best 1v1 specialists to a tournament. If 8 join, there will be some epic games worth watching.

The invited: Bytjie, Fizzer, HHH, Mian, Retro, Impaller, Lollipop, Troll, Zaeban, Zibik21, Saladin.

Two other players I'd like to invite but didn't because I suspect they'd decline: Denzy (he wants to reduce his game count to 3-4) & Chump (our mysterious African adventurer).

11 of these 13 (excluding Saladin/Fizzer, whom I've played only once each) have beat me more than I've beat them. They are the ones I think are the best at the Strategic 1v1 settings. But I'm curious to see how they play against each other, and I would like to watch their games to improve my own Strategic 1v1 strategies.

Double-Elimination (not doible). And 10 of these 13 have beat me more. I haven't played Zibik but twice (1-1).

Imho, this would of been alot better as a RR tourney..

they would be less likely to join a round-robin. double-elimination might cause a few of them to not want to join (extra games to be played).

though a round-robin would be cooler.

Next time yo may try a RR with on ly 1 game at a time, if it's only possible. Would be nice indeed :o)

you would've been invited even if you weren't a member yet. i invited the guys i have the most trouble with along with 3 others.

if the 8 participants (or others among the invited) want a round-robin (1 game at a time) for 5 to 13 of you to play after this double-elimination tournament, i'd like to set that up.
