Should American blacks have a state in the south because they were treated unfairly in most of US history?

They deserve a state, and it should be where Israel currently is.

They shouldn't be moved, but they defintely shouldn't have been set up there in the first place. They had millions of folk there that would be displaced by this state, and it'd be starting a large religious conflict since you'd be putting what three religions call a holy land into the hands of one that is at war with the surrounding religion. It should have been given to a secular Trans-Jordan.

There is a need for a Jewish state due to the relatively insular nature of Jews and the fact that there are not a lot of them.

One, there are not a lot of Scots, only around six million. Does that mean that Scots absolutely need a state? What about Basques? Or Catalans. Or Texans.

Also, Judaism can be de-insularized, it's already happening with Jews leaving the faith, marrying other folk, etc.

You know that lots of the Middle East were secular right? Syria, Turkey, Jordan and a few others still are. In fact, most of the countries that were secular were pretty well off.
