Alright.

Regardless of who did 9/11, we haven't avenged it.

With the amount of carnage and terrorist attacks we've seen after 15 fucking years, my dad said it was like watching Vietnam; day after day Americans get sent to some foreign country to fight not a stable, recognized nation, but an invisible enemy.

We built a tower, but we've destabilized the Middle East more than ever.
We got rid of the Taliban, but they just come back.
America is fighting an ideology with bullets. It's not like we're in WWII. There is no official "ISIS territory", or clearly identifiable soldiers. No.

One man a soldier lets pass could be a refugee, the other a terrorist with plans to gun down a hotel. Why? Because the people who we are fighting can be civilians. The man who drives a car into a house could be an Islamist, but he's not trained. He stocks shit at the grocery store.

The US is trying to fight an idea, an idea anyone can take, like it's a country. An ideology is not an idea.

So as we near 9/11, I'd like to say 3 things:
1. This conflict between various terrorist groups and the world won't end. It won't until we realize ISIS is an ideal, not a nation.
2. Is shitposting about the 3000 people who died truly a respectful thing to do?
3. The holiest Muslim holiday starts the night before 9/11. Truly a topkek.

Just because I'm a Jew doesn't mean I know everything.

Tabby, you're so bad at using Jewish stuff it's like an Asian trying to use ebonics.

They're not sent. They go of their own accord. There's a big split - the split between being a slave to a bloodthirsty organisation against being a bloodthirsty fellow.

we've destabilized the Middle East more than ever.

goal 1 fulfilled.

got rid of the Taliban, but they just come back.

unprofitable to rid them fully.

They do have somewhat stable land, but it's just not recognised. And they do have uniforms, but then they like to put on plainclothes uniforms. It's odd that you bring up Second World War though; what was the happening that started it all? A brigade of German soldiers in Polish clothes attacking Gleinwitz.
