They are called REFUGEES, they run out because of SAFETY, not because of anything else! They're not in their country, they have a chance to get a normal life (any work... they'll have enough money to live normally). Also, how I said, the rapefugees (thanks jamal for the nickname) that stay in bulgaria, only if they manage to pass the high-security border DON'T work and get more money then people who worked for probably 40-50 years (hopefully you'll finally get what I mean).

About the no id passing, I won't talk more... Can I pass a border without an id? No. So the logic says, they can't either.

Cite sources, the standard of living for refugees in Bulgaria is incredibly low, and this coupled with the fact that they are highly discriminated, raped, and murdered for simply being refugees adds to this and ultimately is often the reason why refugees try and avoid Bulgaria as it has a bad reputation, not because people are trying to seek more money.
