Sadly irritated. I think my opponent stalled out to finish the last game because (s)he was in the losing position, but knew (s)he had the higher army count. I realize it would not have mattered to my ranking and I couldn't have jumped into the top 30, but it was pride at this point. I had the upper hand, was on the move, and when the season ended (again, (s)he stalled the last two weeks, IMHO), (s)he got the win. :(

Am I wrong on this? I had the stronger positioning.

Hell of a stalemate in that game, a shame it couldn't complete. The auto-finish is the least fair thing about the seasonal ladder, so i always try to finish my games.

she stalls every seasonal ladder games, lots of players prefer to take advantage fo the rules rather than enjoying the games

Understand, I'm not necessarily besmirching her. But given the speed of early moves, and then the delay over the last few days, I only brought it up. I don't know her, and I'm a fair-minded player. So I'm not accusing her of being a dirty player, I'm more lamenting how the game ended, seeing as how I think I had the more dominant position and momentum.

@lolowut, i played agaisnt her this season and for some turns i felt like she was delaying, i just looked at our game and i see that for the last turns she has always played on time. perhaps she had some dasys in which she actually couldnt eb fast

The only reason you lost that game was because you blockaded Ukraine last turn.
Before blockade:

36*2 + 294 = 366 you win
30*2 + 301 = 361

After blockade:

36*2 + 287 = 359, rave wins.

I know it is always a pity when there is an auto-finish, but if there is don't lose yourself the game with 1 blockade when you know it is going to end :D

yep, i delayed some games at some parts
either because i knew i won't have much time the next days (cause of university or plans) or because i'm still trying to get used to my new life after moving away from home (even though that's more than a month ago...i'm sorry xD) or because a game was getting on my nerves
like this one did, because it so didn't move :/
agree with you that you had a bit of an advantage due to some things that happened and i was surprised myself when i saw i got the win and before hedja posted, i didn't unterstand why :x
going to join the new season anyways, though i don't know if i'll be able to handle my time management better this time :x sorry if i don't ~

No worries. I'm not mad at you. And since this was my first Season, I had no idea how it would auto-finish. Aware of it now, will plan better.
