Frankly all political threads should be banned from the site as far as I am concerned. They have no place on the forums of a game revolving around math and strategy. As far as I'm concerned if you wouldn't discuss it on chess.com, you shouldn't discuss it here. I'd completely remove the off-topic forum and suspend anyone who made politically themed threads.
