Gave the other team the benefit of the doubt when one of their players left for ~40 minutes. Then, we ended up booted within the very short window of the game becoming available again - in fact, what seemed like less than 5 minutes, but could easily have been so.

Gave the other team the benefit of the doubt on this one, then ended up with a boot on my record because of it. Not cool.

I've had this happen before.. part of the reason why people prefer games with people they know are reliable.. some people will scratch a win out no matter how dirty it is

Hm - does getting booted from an unranked game count against your boot list / count?

I can honestly say I don't know.. never bothered to test it..

this is one of the reasons I am so tempted to make an alt account to test things I am curious about, lol

I finally broke down and made an alt..

will test this in a couple minutes when the boot time goes down.. and will check the account later to make sure it updates

Practice games do count towards your boots

Auto-boot is your friend ...

If there were some kind of equivalent to vacations for real-time games, people would use auto-boot more often.

How about 5 Pee-breaks per day? The duration of these breaks should be either 5 minutes each, or the duration should be equal to the auto-boot time.

Just an idea.
