double check Western Austria, you have a territory in Austria named Tyrol but is not part of the actual Tyrol bonus which it is today. Sound confusing but just double check and rename the small dot to something else( maybe Lienz).

That's weird, I'll have to check it out.

Plus have u thought about putting passageways between E-W Germany and Bulgaria-Turkey. I dont know about BUL-TUK but the German borders u could go through.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to try this when I get a chance tonight.

A couple of name changes you could make in Bulgaria to emphasize the more major cities:

Wow, thanks :)

also pls gib scotland moar territories or i will be bullied relentlessly

Okay how about this, I'll put a little note next to scotland that says "pls dont bully ox".

:P

I can definitely redo scotland while I'm redoing portugal and albania.

As someone playing a game on IC 2.0 map as Switzerland, I've got to say... much appreciated. :P

Lol, you're welcome I guess :)

also territory in Far southern Sweden, named Skane, there is also a bonus named Skane. I would change that, make the territory Malmö. Keep bonus as Skane(Skåne in Swedish) xD

The names in Belarus are very bad...what the crap is a "Byelorussian"? Or a Minskaja? It was the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic, as for the inner boni (makes it into an adjector), or if you want to keep it, at least do -aya (that's how it actually is), although just do the borough names they're based upon better yet. Some other mistakes:

hrodna -> Hrodna
kaunas -> Kaunas
Cisinau -> Chișinău
Talinn -> Tallinn
Saare-Makond -> Moonsund Archipelago (also, if you're going to add those islands, why not add the biggest island in the Baltic Sea, Gotland?)
Skane -> Skåne
Vastra Gotaland -> Västra Götaland
Orebro -> Örebro
Gavleborg -> Gävleborg
Jamtland -> Jämtland
Vasterbotten -> Västerbotten
Nizhny Novgorod (bonus and land) -> Gorki

Also, in the Stockholm-Uppsala site - I think you should add ties all over that bay, since they do in real life (bridges and such) far more than they do to say, Uppsalla to Moonsund. Also this map looks really lakeless. It looks weird without Ladoga and the Swedish Waters, and all the holes in Karelia. And it's also kind of islandless. Where are the Hebrides? Faeroe islands? Aland islands? Dalmatian islands? They don't need to become their own lands neededly, but it looks weird without them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byelorussian_Soviet_Socialist_Republic

"Minskaja" Is just "Minsk" in Belarusian (although I'm not really sure why I used belarusian instead of english...):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minsk_Region

It was the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic

What's a "Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic"?

as for the inner boni (makes it into an adjector), or if you want to keep it, at least do -aya (that's how it actually is)

I believe that -aya is russian, whereas -aja is belarusian. Since both were official languages in the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic I don't see any reason to prefer one over the other, except for the possible one that the place is actually called "Belarus" and not "Russia".

although just do the borough names they're based upon better yet. Some other mistakes:

Cool, I'll get these fixed up. There's probably a whole bunch of ones where I forgot to capitalize the first letter, so thanks for letting me know about those :)

Also, in the Stockholm-Uppsala site - I think you should add ties all over that bay, since they do in real life (bridges and such) far more than they do to say, Uppsalla to Moonsund.

Yeah I can add two or three connections maybe, but I'm not sure if you can consider that "all over that bay"... :P

I'm pretty sure I deleted all of the lakes/islands on 1.0 since I was a noob and couldn't deal with big files. I can totally add some lakes and islands back in now though.

so here's my name fixes for Turkey;

Territory(West to East)

Sarkoy -> Gelibolu
Edime -> Edirne
Koceali -> European(Western) Istanbul
Istanbul -> Bosphorus(Strait)
Yalova -> Asian(Eastern) Istanbul
Adapazan -> Kocaeli
Bilicek -> Sakarya
Bursa I -> Yalova
Biserlek -> İznik
Susurluk -> Bursa
Bandrima -> Bandırma
Bursa -> Biga
Akhister -> Akhisar
Milas -> Marmaris
Demiroi -> Demirci
Fethya -> Fethiye
Serik -> Cumra
Eregli I -> Ereğli
Ortakay -> Ortaköy
Ihlara -> Nevşehir
Ortakoy -> Sarıkaya
Ankara -> Kırıkkale
Emirdag -> Ankara
Qubuk -> Kızılcahamam
Seriflokochisar -> Haymana
Karman -> Şereflikoçhisar
kulu -> Kulu
Polati -> Alpu
Bolvadin I -> Eskişehir
Emirdag I -> İnönü

Bonuses

Kuthya -> Kütahya
Esikehir -> Eskişehir

Also I suggest you split up "West Marmara" and "Mediterrean" bonuses;
"West Marmara" -> Trakya(the 3 territories north of Marmara Sea) and Balıkesir(the 4 territories south of it)
"Mediterrean" -> Antalya(the first 4 western territories) and Mersin(the last 4 eastern territories)

Also on Cyprus, renaming the northern territory to "Famagusta" and the southern territory to "Nicosia" is more proper - or you can just name them Northern & Southern Cyprus.

Come to think of it, I actually think Cyprus needs more love; the island was target of a Turkish intervention in the Cold War, so it's an important area for this era.

its Cyprus, I have never seen a Cyprus map with more than 2 territories, unless u do maybe(west-to-east) Western Cyprus(or Paphos), Limassol, Nicosia, Eastern Cyprus(or Dipkarpaz)

that'd be enough really, it's not like the island is big itself. At least an extra 2 territories won't kill.

if it's too small in the map, I wouldn't mind artifically enlargening it slightly either, but some may not like it of course.

Trentino --> Trento
Ferrari --> Bolzano
Beltuno --> Treviso

Can you explain what the color scheme is? I understand Red is the USSR, and pink is Warsaw pact, and Orange is neutral, but blue green and grey all seem to be NATO and I can't figure out the difference.
The Iron Curtain 3.0: 7/13/2016 04:13:54

Yeah, blue, green and grey are all NATO. The reason that NATO countries have distinct colors from one another is to emphasize the fact that western nations were pretty much independent nations with their own governments, even if there was some amount of influence from the US, whereas eastern nations are uniform in color to reflect the fact that they were all pretty much controlled by the USSR.

The colors aren't meant to imply that for example germany, italy, and the UK are grouped together somehow. As I said they're just there to emphasize that these are distinct nations by not having two neighboring countries share the same color borders.

A lot of typos in Romania too + the fact you named a lot of territories after small villages which is weird IMO + some wrong places for cetain territory names.

Typos:
Dobrita-Turnu Severin--->Dobreta-Turnu Severin
Zimincea--->Zimnicea
Crajova--->Craiova

Changes to names for accuracy:
Darabani--->Botosani
Botosani--->Iasi
Turgu Frumos (a typo too)--->Vaslui
Iasi--->Galati
Golgovg--->Sulina
Cernevoda (another typo)--->Constanta
Constanta--->Mangalia
Saveja--->Focsani
Focsani--->Buzau
Mirsesti (typo)--->Bacau
Pascani--->Onesti
Onest (typo)--->Targu Secuiesc
Harghita I--->Brasov
Bacau--->Miercurea Ciuc
Roman--->Gheorgheni
Ciribaba--->Vatra Dornei
Medias--->Sibiu
Maramures--->Satu Mare (not wrong but i see you mainly name territories after cities, not counties/historical regions)
Salaj--->Baia Mare
Satu Mares(typo)--->Zalau
Salonta--->Arad
Arad--->Jimbolia
Cluj-Napoca--->Dej
Birtin--->Cluj-Napoca
Lugoj--->Timisoara
Dabra--->Caransebes
Resita--->Moldova Noua
Ineu--->Hunedoara
Deva--->Petrosani
Cisnadu--->Dragasani
Brasov--->Tirgoviste
along many others (almost whole Wallchia is named wrong too)
I will make an update soon to this but please consider making these changes

Update:
It would be nice to split Bucharest in 2 and to name the one up Ploiesti
Onest I->Titu
Harghita-->Pitesti
Sibiu->Rimnicu Valcea

Suggested bonus names changes:
Arad->Banat

I think it would be better to connect Turkey to Famagusta(Cyprus) rather than directly to Nicosia, and some Greek islands on Aegean would be nice either but those aren't really necessary.

Good work, otherwise :)

EDIT: Missing connection Iskilip-Vezirkopru on Turkish Black Sea Coast.

Cool, I fixed those few things. I think I'll hold off on adding the islands for now, as even with all the crazy optimization I'm doing (Which makes it a big pain in the butt to change the SVG), I'm just barely scratching in under the limit at 1.9mb of 2mbs that are allowed.
