He's not socialist, and you're being silly, not actually denying what he said, either. Also, high taxes don't crush a middle class, they mould a middle class. Don't say such bold things without backing it, frankly, folk here are way more confident than they should be in economy.

Sweden's average money, selon World Bank, has grown yearly 0.04% less than America from 1990 to 2014. Going by IMF from 1980 to 2016; Sweden beats America by 0.09% each year.

The Swedish folk are happier than American, selon the World Happiness Report by the UN (calculated by GHP by head, social support, health, everyday freedoms, trust in government).

In Sweden, 3x less folk have AIDS. 6x lower murder rate. A barely lower HDI (lower by 0.08). 2x less infant mortality. 3 more years of life on average. Pretty much either way better or just a bit worse, that's how Sweden does on most world rankings.
