I got invited a while ago (for the second time). Based on the appearance of the forum, it seems the only effort Darklordio is willing to expend is to send out blanket invites to people he's never played with.

I'm not quite sure what the point is since he only signs in every few days and isn't in any games.

Here I am, waiting to see how long it takes for him to see this and remove me since I clearly think the clan is a huge joke, yet am a member.

573 members and maybe 20 are active. Super.

Darklords is one of the funniest clans. They have some elite members but 99% of their members are random players from across Warlight, many of which have no skill at all. Darklords has a nice icon, but with such a bad reputation they need revision for people to take them seriously as a good clan. ^^

DARKLORD takes too much flak in my thought. They are the biggest and most powerful clan.

They just get people who don't have anywhere else to go and bother to actually check their clanpage and accept the invite.

First, you have to define "powerful" before you can make such a claim.

As for biggest? Sure, they are. That is not something to be proud of. Disagree and want your clan to be big? Here's what you can do:

    * Invite everyone, no matter how bad they are, if they're already in another clan, or even if they openly despise the clan you're inviting them to.
    * Never remove anybody from the clan roster. Have someone that hasn't signed on in 3 years and provides zero value other than an empty pair of boots in the lobby? Doesn't matter; they're still an empty pair of boots.
    * Don't ever hold any internal clan tournaments, nor should you participate in cross-clan tournaments. You wouldn't want your members to hold any actual responsibilities now, would you?
    * Don't train your members. You wouldn't want to potentially hurt someone's feelings by telling them that they need to improve. They might quit!

Actually, now that I think about it, Darklords isn't even the biggest clan. I should write a script to pull their roster and then individually look at them to see who's been online in the last month. I bet that would be 10% of their whole clan. At best. It's not fair to simply compare Darklords's roster full of inactives to all the other clans that actually require you to maintain membership. It's apples to oranges.

Additionally, what actually caused me to accept the invitation was this gem: http://i.imgur.com/H3ZIenT.png

That's right. He joined Darklords for the icon.

Granted, I lost (https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=11321290) to a Darklord with an abysmal win/loss ratio, but I'll blame that on my starting locations.

Anyway, Darklords is awful.

That sounds like a plan. Many other clans tried to succeed the same plan. But, only Darklords executed that plan perfectly. It is not a good strategy. However, we should accept that darklords are best of its own kind.

Don't take it so seriously, also don't be so harsh, you don't need to say whether you joined or not, it's an invite to an online clan, calm down.
